The regulation on personal data protection states that data controllers must set limited periods of conservation of the personal data processed that is proportionate to the purpose of the processing implemented.
With regard to the personal data processing that our Clients carry out on their Store Locators, we recommend the following conservation periods which we believe meet the regulation’s requirements:
- 13 months from the prospect’s last trace of activity (contact request form, email in response sent by the contact)
- 3 months after receiving an email from the prospect subscribing to a newsletter.
At the end of the conservation period implemented on the BRIDGE platform, on the written request of each Client for his own Store Locator(s), prospects’ personal data shall be anonymised.
Anonymisation is an irreversible process that consists of changing the content or structure of the data. Any information that directly or indirectly identifies a person is removed or modified, making it impossible to reidentify them. These periods of conservation are purely indicative and can be adjusted.
They are configured on the platform by Leadformance on the Client’s written instructions.
